Kellie & John: Married!

Kellie & John were married a few weeks ago at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA.  A couple whose wedding I had shot waaayyy back in ’07 (thanks Clare and Brian!) had recommended me and I was psyched to work with this awesome couple on their wedding day.  I know Kellie was really into her photos and I hope these are a good start to the collection!  Especially since she put so much work into the day – from helping to design her dress to the wedding invitations and more.  They also opted to see each other before the ceremony to do some formal portraits which, if you don’t mind going non-traditional, is a nice way to schedule the day and get some great relaxed photos.  Enjoy!

Oh, and for a little soundtrack to this set, I’ve added one of my favorite Jeff Buckley songs.  Just press play if you want a little music while you check out the pics.  And if you’re a Jeff Buckley fan or just a fan of good music in general, I recommend checking out this YouTube clip of his live cover of Hallelujah, amazing artist….

Sade - Who made the brides dress?

Kellie - Hi Sade, My dress was made by a local seamstress near Boston, MA. It was modeled after a Monique Lhuillier dress, and came out absolutely perfect :-)

Nicole - hey kellie

looking forward to seeing any pictures of mom lol

Clare - Amazing photos, but I already knew they would be! Good work Corey! You too, Kellie & John ;)

Christi - Tara from Tada sent me this link to see your birdcage veil — it and the whole wedding and photos are gorgeous! Could I ask where you got the veil (and, ok, the feather too, for the dancing part, they are both just lovely.)

:)

Ann Marie Popko - Kellie, thanks so much for asking me to make your feathered hair accessories! You looked fantastic at your wedding. I am honored to be a part of such a stylish affair! Congratulations.

Kellie - Hi Christi! Hope you got my email about the veil :-) Ann Marie has a link to her etsy shop in her comment above, and she was the maker of my awesome feathered clip. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Bre - The pictures are amazing. What a beautiful wedding!
